SCC Week 3 Check In & Week 4 Goals

I'm totally failing this challenge.  First I was so sick then this past week my aunt passed away and I flew home to Ohio for the funeral so dieting hasn't been a priority.

I'm going to give this challenge one more try and really hit it this week.  I'll weigh in on Wednesday and get the damage and go from there.

My goals for week 4:

  • Stay on plan by eating Jenny Craig meals the majority of the time
  • If eating out make mindful food choices and eat healthy
  • Take fish oil and calcium supplements (failed at this week 2 need to take them!)
  • Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (major fail at this week 2 and I am really going to do it this week)
  • Eat salads with lunch and dinner to help fill me up
  • Dance at least twice to get in the habit of doing it (using my Wii Dance Workout DVD)
  • Visit the other blogs participating in the challenge and offer encouragement

Hey.... I do not thinking you are failing. YOU have a life and that life sometimes gets jumbled up with stuff. It happens. The only failure is in giving up. You will get into a groove. Here's to a fabulous week 4.

I agree with Stormy, sometimes life throws unavoidable curveballs at us...the best you can do is pick right back up where you left off

Just keep on the challenge. We've all had things thrown at us in life and even though we get off track what matters is how we recover. Good luck this week.

You aren't failing. Life will happen and you just have to roll with the punches. I'm very sorry for your loss but I'm glad to see that you are still trying. All anyone from the SCC wants is the best for you. Hopefully you'll get back into the swing of things and start feeling better. The only way to fail, in my books, is to quit. And you've shown that you haven't quit, so you're still good. xx

I don't think you're failing either. Sometimes life gets in the way.. the only fail is to give up!

Life is throwing you some major curves girl! But the key is to not give up! You're not failing- you're getting up every day and dealing. You're still trying. None of that is failure. Just take it one day at a time. And keep trying-don't make this your last effort. You can do this. Do what you have to do to make yourself feel successful- even if it's just taking your goals one at a time- just work on one this week and let the others go. Take your time.

Definitely not failing, Life throws us some many hard times and unfortunately life threw you those challenges you will get threw all of this!!
